Q: Is the Venus DS2 chipset driverless?  
A: JMicron is driverless in Windows 2000/XP/Vista (32-bit) and Mac.  
Q: Why eSATA connection have no power when I connected to PC/Mac?  
A: For eSATA to function correctly. First connect eSATA cable to an available eSATA port then connect the USB 2.0 port for power. (This is the only time you can connect both eSATA+USB ports together when using eSATA mode). Why? eSATA specification does not have bus-power therefore you need to connect the USB cable.
