Product Policy:
Product Warranty (updated 07/06)
What the warranty covers: American Media System warrants its products to be free from damages and malfunction in material and workmanship during the warranty period. If a product proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, American Media System will at its sole option repair or replace the product with a like product.
How long the warranty is effective: AMS rackmount chassis and cabinets are warranted for three (3) years on chassis, and one (1) year on parts and one (1) year on labor from the date of purchase. All other AMS products, including power supplies, computer cases, server cases, data storage enclosures, removable racks, barebone system and accessories, are warranted for one (1) year on parts and one (1) year on labor from the date purchase.
Who the warranty protects: This warranty is valid only for the first consumer purchaser.
What the warranty does not cover: Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from: Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by American Media System. Removal or installation of the product. Use of supplies or parts not meeting AMS' specifications. Any other cause which does not relate to a product defect.
Exclusion of damages: AMERICAN MEDIA SYSTEMS' LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT.
AMERICAN MEDIA SYSTEM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: 1. DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY CAUSED BY ANY DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT, DAMAGES BASED UPON INCONVENIENCE,
LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOOD
WILL, INTERFERENCE WITH BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS, OR OTHER COMMERCIAL LOSS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE
POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. 2. ANY OTHER DAMAGES, WHETHER INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHERWISE. 3. ANY CLAIM AGAINST THE CUSTOMER BY ANY OTHER PARTY.
RMA Policy and Procedures: 1. Request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number by either calling or faxing AMS' customer service
department. Please provide AMS with a copy of invoice and a description of the problem.

To obtain warranty service, you will be required to provide: Company name, telephone, fax number, and contact person Copy of the Original invoice (Proof-of-Purchase) Item number, description, quantity, and unit price. Explanation regarding nature of problem 3. Ship the product back to AMS (freight prepaid) and please make sure: a.The RMA number is displayed on the shipping label of all boxes returned. b.You enclose a copy of your proof of purchase, or invoice c.The product is securely packed in the original box all the accessories, manual and packing materials. 4. RMA numbers issued by AMS are valid for only thirty (30) days from date of issue.
Prices All prices are those in effect on the date of invoice. American Media Systems, Inc. (AMS) reserves the right to change prices without notice.
Restocking (All other AMS Products) There is a 15% restocking fee for all non-defective merchandise returned within thirty (30) days of purchase. There are no returns for products after (30) days of date purchase.
Payment Payments are to be received by AMS within Terms given per date on invoice.
Delinquent Payments If an account becomes thirty (30) days delinquent of Terms given, Terms are then changed to C.O.D. The C.O.D. Terms will be in effect until the account is paid to Terms. Any balance so remaining shall bear interest at the lesser of the rate of XX% per month (18% A.P.R.) or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law, until paid. In the event that any suit or action is necessary, the Customer will be responsible for all legal fees incurred. Including a reasonable sum for attorney's fees. There is a $15 service charge on each returned check.
